Ticket Terms

1. Refunds

Tickets are non-refundable. In the event of cancellation by the organiser, ticket-holders will be offered a full refund or a transfer to a rescheduled championship date. We cannot refund tickets due to travel disruption or weather.

2. Age policy

• Under 5s: free of charge with an accompanying adult.
• Young (5 – 17): reduced-price Young ticket required.
• Family ticket: covers two adults and up to three Young attendees; Under 5s included free of charge.

Under-18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times on the championship floor.

3. Accessibility

Inverness Leisure is step-free, with accessible toilets, a Changing Places facility and close-to-entrance parking. Carers attend free of charge — request a carer ticket at the point of purchase. We are committed to publishing full accessibility detail (including BSL provision) ahead of event day.

4. Allergens

Every entry on display carries an ingredient and allergen panel. Public tasting samples are labelled. If you have a severe allergy, please speak to a steward on arrival and we will help you navigate the floor safely.

5. Photography & filming consent

By attending the World Shortbread Championships, you consent to being photographed and filmed on the championship floor and for those images to be used in High Life Highland's pre- and post-event communications. Stewards can point you toward photography-free zones if you'd prefer not to appear in coverage.
