Allergens & Accessibility

Every entry on display carries an ingredient and allergen panel. Public tasting samples are labelled so visitors with allergies, intolerances or dietary needs can browse the championship floor safely and confidently.

Inverness Leisure is a step-free venue with accessible toilets, a Changing Places facility, and parking close to the entrance. Full accessibility detail — including BSL provision and quiet-time slots — is published closer to the event.

  • What does a spectator ticket include?
    Your ticket gives you the run of the championship floor on Saturday 21 November 2026: browse every entry on display, taste shortbread at the public tasting tables, watch the judging up close, and join the awards as the world's first World Shortbread Champion is crowned.
  • What ticket types are available?
    Adult, Young, Under-fives, and Family tickets — see the prices above. Under-fives go free. Early-bird rates apply until 30 September 2026, after which standard pricing takes over.
  • Do under-fives need a ticket?
    Under-fives come in free, but please still add an Under-fives ticket when you book so we can plan for numbers on the day.
  • Can I taste the shortbread?
    Yes — public tasting is part of the day. Sample entries at the tasting tables while the judging plays out around you.
  • I have allergies — is it safe to taste?
    Every entry on display carries an ingredient and allergen panel, and public tasting samples are labelled, so visitors with allergies can browse and taste safely. If you are unsure about anything, ask a steward on the day.
  • Is the venue accessible, and is there parking?

  • Can I refund or exchange my ticket?
    Spectator tickets are sold through Ticket Tailor. Refunds and exchanges are handled in line with our ticket terms — please check those before booking if your plans may change.
